Now, a prominent Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is preparing for a significant closure of its own.
Disney Resort Hotel Shuts Down Area for Winter Months
Beginning in January 2024 and lasting until late March 2024, there are exciting developments taking place at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. As part of the dedication to providing an outstanding guest experience, the Fuentes del Morro Pool will be temporarily closed for routine maintenance. While this may mean some adjustments to your vacation plans, rest assured that the closure is necessary to ensure that the pool remains in top-notch condition for all future guests to enjoy.
During this maintenance period, guests might see or hear some construction work during daytime hours. However, Disney ensures guests that every effort will be made to minimize any inconveniences and ensure that each stay is as enjoyable as possible. Disney understands the importance of maintaining a peaceful and relaxing environment for its guests and will strive to make this construction as painless as possible.
The Disney Skyliner will also be closing at this resort from January 16 until January 21, 2024. Guests who are looking to use this service can use alternate bus routes instead.
“From January 16, 2024 through January 21, 2024, Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance. Disney Skyliner service to and from Disney’s Riviera Resort and International Gateway at EPCOT will remain closed through January 27, 2024. During this time, complimentary bus service will be available.
From January 2024 through late March 2024, the Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim in any of
the 5 leisure pools at this Disney Resort hotel.”
A Necessary Pause
While this pause is certainly not ideal, it is absolutely necessary to keep the Disney Resort hotels at the standard that they are known to be at. Hopefully, this closure will be quick, and guests can get back to enjoying this gorgeous resort in all its glory.
