We are freaking out! The best of two worlds will soon merge in a new merchandise collaboration later this month! On March 11, 2022, Disney Parks announced an upcoming collaboration with iconic Florida company Lilly Pulitzer in a bright, preppy, and Mickey Mouse studded TikTok. Lilly Pulitzer is a Florida brand that is well-known not only in its native Palm Beach, Florida but also around the south and across the country among individuals that favor a classic preppy style or those that just love the bright colors and patterns on Lilly clothing.
As a die-hard Disney and Lilly Pulitzer fan, it’s worth noting that the culture and fandom surrounding each company is intense, making this collaboration a smart one for both companies. A collaboration between Disney Parks and Lilly Pulitzer is exciting for many reasons. The announcement is right on time as we move into warmer months and Lilly Pulitzer and Disney fans, alike, start planning theme park days in Orlando and Anaheim.
For you Disney fans that may not be familiar with the brand, Lilly Pulitzer is an iconic Florida-founded-company that began in Palm Beach, Florida at a local juice stand. That’s right, a juice stand. When Palm Beach socialite Lilly Pulitzer set up a juice stand to sell fresh squeezed juice to customers, she was frustrated with the bright colored juice stains that splotched her shift dresses. To remedy this problem, Lilly started wearing brightly colored dresses with wild patterns and prints in an attempt to hide any stains. Soon, the women of Palm Beach were more interested in purchasing dresses like Lilly wore than her juice- and a brand was born!
Although Lilly Pulitzer corporate is now located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania the flagship store in Palm Beach, Florida is still the Florida home of the brand. These days, it’s common to see Floridians wearing not only Lilly Pulitzer formal wear like dresses but also more casual resort wear like shorts, t-shirts, swimwear, hats and accessories.
There is a lot of overlap among the Lilly and Disney community, in fact, shops at Walt Disney World like Bay View Gifts in Contemporary Resort, Summer Lace in Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and shops in the Yacht & Beach Club all carry Lilly Pulitzer clothing.

Disney Springs welcomed a Lilly Pulitzer Store in 2016 prompting Disney Lilly lovers to plan trips to the store during Disney vacations. It’s common to see Lily Pulitzer fan groups on social media planning outings to Disney Parks, coordinating Lilly print outfits for Disney vacations, or purchasing custom Lilly Pulitzer-inspired products from vendors on Etsy. From custom Lilly Pulitzer print Minnie ears to Castle t-shirts with a Lilly Pulitzer-inspired print, these two brands often collide.
We are super excited about this newest little Lilly Pulitzer collaboration and cannot wait to kick off our shopping on Monday, March 14, 2022, when the collaboration drops on Shopdisney.com, shops at Disney World and Disneyland. In the video comments, Disney Parks shared that the collection would be stocked in the Lilly Pulitzer Store in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs on April 14, 2022.

The print in the TikTok announcing the collaboration showcased a summer Mickey and Minnie Mouse on an aqua background with orange and fuchsia accents. We see orange blossoms and, of course, those signature Lilly Pulitzer oranges surrounding Mickey and Minnie (perhaps paying homage to the original juice stand heritage of the brand) on an array of products.
The video shows a model wearing a Skipper Popover, what appears to be either a Kristen Swing Dress or a Margot Swing Dress, and a Finn Top in the print. Accessory lovers rejoice! The video also showcases a metal tumbler perfect for morning coffee, an adorable spiral notebook, an adorable wristlet, and the Lilly Run Around Hat perfect for a hot day in the Disney Parks. The ad was filmed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort near Bay Lake, a beautiful backdrop to showcase these fun products.
As a seasoned Disney Park junkie and a Lilly lover, I have often worn these staples on vacation and couldn’t think of better apparel to include in the collaboration. You cannot beat a hat in the Florida sun, so my Lilly Run Around Hat is always in my Park bag. The Kristen Swing Dress is cute and comfortable, perfect for a dinner reservation at a Disney Resort or paired with white sneakers for an afternoon in the Park, hopping between attractions. Popovers are the perfect weight for those chilly early mornings heading to rope drop or late nights when you could use an extra layer. Not only will you look stylish in these new Lilly pieces – you can function in comfort during your Park day.
We have so many questions about this collaboration. Is this the only print in the collection? Are there other Lilly Pulitzerproducts in this collection? Lilly Pulitzer fans are lovers of limited edition collections, the resort chic vibe the brand conveys, and they go crazy for the playful prints and stunning pattern studded apparel this brand is known for. We are counting down the days until this collaboration, we cannot wait for Disney and Lilly to spill the juice on this collaboration!
