When it was announced that a new, after-hours event would be taking the place of the popular Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, many Guests were apprehensive — due mainly to the high price tag of the party. Disney Very Merriest After Hours, like Very Merry Christmas Party, would also be four hours and would include a special parade and Christmas fireworks, as well as some included snacks like hot chocolate and cookies, but many Guests did not think that they could spend over $200 per ticket, especially after dealing with a pandemic year.

If you did not purchase tickets to this year’s Magic Kingdom Christmas party, Disney has revealed that you may still be able to see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade — which was originally only offered to Guests of Disney Very Merriest After Hours. The last date of Disney Very Merriest After Hours is December 21, but starting December 22, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be shown at the Magic Kingdom at 12 p.m. and then again at 3:45 p.m.

The parade will be shown twice daily beginning on December 22 and running through December 31. It is important to note that the second showings on December 30 and December 31 will take place at 3:30 p.m. and not 3:45 p.m.
