It’s undeniable that Walt Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth, but sometimes the magic isn’t enough to avoid technical difficulties.

Between Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, there’s truly something for everyone at Walt Disney World Resort. Each Disney Park has something different to offer Guests, but Hollywood Studios is probably the most thrilling.
Hollywood Studios is home to Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Fan favorite attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway entertain visiting Guests every day. But not all went according to plan for one of these attractions today.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is the theme park’s latest attraction, and it’s been incredibly popular ever since it opened in 2020. The attraction is revolutionary in its use of technology and for being the first attraction in Walt Disney World Resort to feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

However, on February 16, the attraction was listed as ‘Temporarily Closed’ in the Walt Disney World mobile app right as the Park opened. That means anyone entering the theme park early or rope-dropping would not have been able to ride this attraction.
But there’s no need to fret because the closure was truly temporary.

At the time of this article’s publication, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is back on track. It turns out that Mickey Mouse was right when he sang, “Nothing can stop us now!”
