Here’s Your Chance To Own a Piece of Disney History!

Sometimes us Disney fans love to sit back and think of the good old Disney days of yore. We remember the attractions that we love that have been replaced with more updated ones. We reminisce about what it was like to be able to visit any time of year and not have the crowds practically suffocate you, and we set our taste buds ablaze when we think about our favorite Disney foods to eat. Ahhh, the memories. And now, you have the chance to get your very own piece of Disney history!

Heritage Auctions is currently hosting the ultimate auction for Disneyland fans and Disney fans in general. There are a number of items up for auction that are sure to make your Disney heart flutter. Here is just a small sampling of the items that you can bid on:

  • D23 Disney Convention “A Tribute to Mr. Toad” Cyril Proudbottom and Mr. Toad Bronze-Style Limited Edition Figurine (Walt Disney, 2015)
  • Walt Disney World – Park-Displayed Fantasyland Trash Can Sign (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s)
  • The Lion King Cast Signed Movie Poster One Sheet (Walt Disney, 1994)
  • Disneyland – Rainbow Caverns Mine Train Engine #3 Bell with Park-Used Stand (Walt Disney, c. 1956)
  • Disneyland – Matterhorn Bobsleds Original Silk-Screened Park Attraction Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1959-1980s)

There are also a number of bigger items that serious Disney collectors may not be able to pass up. First up, there is an original, Park-used Skyway gondola that made its Disneyland debut in 1956, just one year after the Park opened. The Skyway is one of the most iconic attractions that Disney fans remember with a lot of love. This incredible piece of Disney history has a current bid of $19,000.

Another amazing auction item? An original complete Park-used Autopia car with the original body, chassis, and tires. As little kids, who didn’t love making their parents wait with them, so they could drive the Autopia cars? It was the closest we were going to get to getting behind the wheel for years! This original car is sure to evoke some truly magical memories for whoever wins this auction item. The current bid is at $21,000.

Alright, everyone, this next auction item is sure to make you smile. One of the rides that Walt Disney World fans tend to miss the most is Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, which was located in Fantasyland. It is still open at Disneyland Resort, and Guests can’t get enough of that Disney nostalgia when they ride it. Well, now you have the chance to own an original Mr. Toad ride vehicle that was used at Walt Disney World! The current bid on this item is $18,500.
