Going to Disney’s D23 Expo? You Can Get Discounted Theme Park Tickets!

Every other year, Disney hosts an ultimate fan event at the Anaheim Convention Center next to Disneyland Resort. This event is called the D23 Expo, and it brings in Disney fans from around the world. While the schedule had to be changed as everyone grappled with the pandemic, things are back on track and the D23 Expo will be taking place this year from September 9 through September 11. At this time, most of the tickets to the Expo are sold out, but some still remain for Friday and Sunday.

Now, there is a big chance that most people going to the D23 Expo will want to head over to Disneyland Resort, since it is right down the road. Unfortunately, tickets to the Expo aren’t cheap, and tickets to Disneyland definitely aren’t cheap. Couple that with the fact that many visitors will want to buy D23 merchandise, and that might really cause an issue for people on a tight budget. However, D23 has thought of that and is planning on offering discounted tickets to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for event attendees!

D23 shared the following information on its website:

These special ticket prices are not available once you arrive at the Resort and are intended only for guests who are participating in this Event. Only the registered attendee is allowed to purchase tickets from this discounted ticket store link and they can purchase up to 6 tickets maximum. We reserve the right to contact the ticket purchaser to request event registration confirmation. If it is discovered that the purchaser of the ticket is not participating or attending this event it will be considered a misuse of this offer and ticket, and the ticket(s) will be blocked and will not be eligible for a refund. In addition these tickets cannot be purchased for the purpose of being resold.

Tickets are valid from Tuesday, September 06, 2022 through Saturday, September 17, 2022.

The ticket store will close at 9:00 PM PST on Thursday, September 08, 2022.

At this time, Disney and D23 have not shared how much these tickets will cost. It is also unknown if they will be single Park tickets or if they will also sell a Park Hopper option (odds are they will). What we do know is that, if you would like to purchase these discounted tickets, the online store will open on Friday, May 20 — an opening time has not been announced.
