Walt Disney World, also known as the most magical place on Earth, has always been synonymous with enchantment, imagination, and endless fun. This sprawling resort, located in Orlando, Florida, has captivated visitors for decades with its iconic theme parks, captivating attractions, and unforgettable experiences.

New Offerings Continue to Bring Guests Back to Walt Disney World

Many fans are enticed back to the Parks year after year due to the new additions and changes constantly happening. This year, Walt Disney World has been planning to open an array of exciting new additions that continue to redefine the concept of magical entertainment. From expansions to Meet and Greets to new restaurants, Guests have been waiting patiently for these new additions to arrive.

Now, as 2023 nears its end, some fans are wondering when dates will be announced for ten of these major new additions.

Disney Is Radio-Silent About New Park Additions

Something weird is going on in the Disney Parks, and fans are determined to get to the bottom of it. Normally, Disney is very on top of announcing when Guests can expect new additions to land in the Parks. However, recently this standard has significantly slipped.

Theme Park reporter Scott Gustin compiled “A list of projects at WDW with timelines but w/o specific opening dates.” The list is as follows:

Summer:

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya

Figment meet and greet

Fall:

Journey of Water

Meet Mirabel at MK

World Celebration Neighborhood

Later this year:

Hatbox Ghost

EPCOT nighttime show

The Cake Bake Shop

Disney Springs:

Later this year:

Summer House on the Lake

EET at Disney Springs

It really is so strange that Disney has not given fans a clear date for when any of these offerings will be opening. Hopefully, Disney sticks to their word and starts revealing information soon.
