A Scary Moment for Guests

A guest who was aboard the ride during the breakdown took to social media to share their experience, describing how the attraction stalled in the middle of the ride’s thrilling movements. The guest explained,

“Broke down on Tower of Terror yesterday morning in the middle of the ride where it’s going up and down and obviously although I know it’s super safe, I was super scared when it came to a brake.”

The guest went on to detail the situation: “We stopped and could see the windows opening above where you look out at the studios. We were told we would be evacuated and at the time I was thinking in what way? Stairs, etc. But the lift was lowered down slowly and all was fine. We got FastPass to ride it again, but I chose not to 😂 I’m a big wuss.”

Despite the initial anxiety, the situation was handled effectively, with the lift slowly lowered, allowing guests to exit safely. While many were initially unsure of what to expect, Disneyland Paris cast members acted promptly to reassure and guide the affected guests.
