Maybe you’ve had your heart set on visiting next summer. Next year might even be the year the family wants to get together in Florida for a very magical family reunion. Or perhaps you’re already planning a holiday 2023 trip to the parks. No matter when you’re hoping to visit Disney World during 2023, you’ll be able to begin making plans, purchasing tickets, and booking your Disney World Resort Hotel stay, starting June 8.

According to Disney Parks Blog, Disney’s early theme park entry benefit isn’t leaving when the anniversary party’s over–it’s sticking around for all of 2023! With this benefit, Disney Resort Hotel Guests have the opportunity to enjoy any of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World earlier than Guests not staying on Disney property.

June 8 also marks the beginning of a whole new way to purchase Disney’s Genie+ service. Beginning that day, Genie+ will only be offered for purchase via the My Disney Experience app on the day you plan to visit and for which you have valid park admission and a Park Pass Reservation.

Disney will no longer offer the option to purchase this service pre-arrival as a ticket add-on for dates remaining in 2022 and in 2023.

Per Disney Parks Blog:

“This means that moving forward, whether you have an Annual Pass, multi- or single-day ticket, you may only purchase Disney Genie+ service on the day of your visit via the app, one day at a time, subject to availability. We’re focused on delivering the best possible Guest experience, and this adjustment will help manage the incredibly strong demand our guests have shown for Disney Genie+.

“If you already purchased a ticket that includes Disney Genie+ service for dates later in 2022, don’t worry – you’ll be able to use the service during your visit. Please also note this update is also only happening at Walt Disney World Resort and will not affect Guests at Disneyland Resort, as the services vary at each destination.”
