Guests Bring Banned Items Into Disney Park as Part of Viral “Disney Hack”

This is surely a Disney hack that cast members will not be too fond of. In order to keep Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort a safe and happy place for all guests, park officials have a strict list of prohibited items that security are on the look out for.

When guests go through security screening to enter the park, these items are often confiscated by officials. However, certain guests do try to sneak in contraband items anyway.

A recent group of guests boasted about sneaking alcohol into Disneyland Resort. The video labeled the action as a”Disney Hack,” despite Disney’s strict prohibition on outside alcoholic beverages entering Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

This Disney Hack Could Get You Banned!

This phenomenon underscores the lengths to which some visitors are willing to go in order to enjoy their favorite drinks while experiencing the magic of Disneyland. While alcohol sales are strictly regulated within the park, the allure of bringing in personal choices of alcoholic beverages seems to be a tempting feat for those looking to enhance their Disney experience with their drink of choice.

In addition, drinks at Disney are known to be quite expensive. By sneaking in a personal supply from the outside, guests can save money. The practice of sneaking alcohol into the park raises questions about the enforcement of Disney’s rules. Time and time again, guests find creative ways to bypass security checks and regulations in pursuit of enjoying alcoholic drinks during their visit.

Many guests call out these guests for breaking the rules and question why they feel the desire to be drinking at Disneyland Park around children. One guest says:

“This is not at all the flex they think this is. In fact, doing this around children, when you need to be the most alert, is in fact a major safety hazard to them and everyone around you.”

What Will Disney Do if You’re Caught Sneaking Alchohol?

Disney clearly expressed that outside alcohol is banned from the parks. Guests are welcome to enjoy beer, wine, or a cocktail at one of their incredible restaurants. Disney’s website clearly states alcoholic beverages as a banned item, saying:

“Alcoholic beverages, except in the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Wine may be brought in to the Downtown Disney District to be consumed at select table service restaurants only, corkage fees apply.”

If guests are caught with alcohol in their personal belongings, Disney will likely confiscate the materials and potentially remove you from the property altogether. Disney does not play around with their banned items, and punishment is often severe for rulebreakers.

While Disney maintains a firm stance on alcohol policies within their parks, the persistence of guests in attempting to bring in outside alcohol still continues. What do you think about this rule?

  1. Hope she’s prepared to have her pass (if she’s an AP) revoked.

  2. Since this dumbass did this now security needs to check ice packs or maybe all will just be banned. It just takes a few asshats to ruin it for everyone. They should be banned for being just too stupid. I mean you break the rules and then post pictures of yourself doing it – how to you think that will end up.
