Guests Attacked By Drunk Guests While Waiting in Disability Line, Claims Cast Members Laughed

Disneyland Resort opened in 1955, and for almost 65 years, it didn’t serve a drop of alcohol. Its sister Park — Disney California Adventure — has been selling booze since it opened in 2001. In 2018, alcohol made its way to Disneyland Park with the opening of Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a brand-new area of the theme park. While many Guests like the fact that they can now enjoy an adult beverage during their Disneyland day, there are some who wish Disney had remained dry.

It may sound odd to some, but certain Guests like to overindulge while they are in the Parks. Unfortunately, drunk people are unpredictable and can make poor decisions. Some can even become easily triggered and get aggressive. That is what one Guest claimed happened while she was waiting with her family in the disability line at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

A post recently made the rounds on Reddit, asking if anyone else had noticed a fight that broke out at Thunder Mountain. The original poster was unsure of what happened and wanted to know if anyone else had witnessed it. The post made the rounds and caught the attention of one of the women who was involved in the fight. She decided to take to TikTok to tell her story.

According to the woman — who posted under the Roquero Foo on TikTok — she and her family were in the disability line, as her sister-in-law has a torn ACL and meniscus. She says that a drunk family had already gotten her party’s attention because they were yelling loudly and cursing. The intoxicated party then entered behind them, but part of their party was ahead of them, already waiting in the disability line.

Roquero Foo claims that her party let the drunk patrons go ahead of them, but something triggered one of the women in the other party, who then pushed her and hit her sister-in-law on the head with a water bottle. From there, things only got worse. Roquero Foo claims that the inebriated party would not stop coming after them and trying to attack them. She claims that her party repeatedly asked Cast Members for help, but they were ignored. She claims that they tried to reach out to one Cast Member, who told them not to touch her.

Finally, another Cast Member walked up and said that they had seen the whole thing and that the police were being called. While the parties waited for police to arrive, Roquero Foo claims that the drunk party was laughing with Cast Members who had been there. She then claims that the drunk party lied to police, who then also laughed with the party. She claims that all people saw were an angry black woman and two angry Hispanic women fighting with a white family, and assumed the Hispanic family was to blame.

Many were absolutely appalled that Disney Cast Members would let a family be assaulted and then laugh with the apparent assailants. Others told Roquero Foo that she should ask Disney for security footage. She claims that she did, but was told that they didn’t have cameras in the area. Disney has camera’s covering nearly every inch of its theme parks, so they believe that Disney simply did not want to get involved. She was then encouraged by followers to get a lawyer, so they can demand Disney hand over the video.

In an update for her followers, Roquero Foo says that only one person tried to help her family — a man in a ponytai. She says that she has spoken to the man and he will be calling the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to report what he saw. Roquero Foo has not said whether or not her family is going to try to press charges against their attackers.
