For the past 100 years, fans have been treated to incredible movies that have dazzled audiences and reminded us all of what it is like to dream big and never give up. Even through the darkest times, Disney has remained a ray of hope that joy, kindness, and love will always prevail.

To celebrate a momentous 100 years, Disney has revealed the Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection.

Disney Unveils New Collection, but Fans Aren’t Sold…

This carefully curated collection showcases the rich history and artistic legacy of Disney animation, spanning decades of creativity and innovation. From charming classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to modern masterpieces like Frozen and Moana, this collection captures the magic and wonder that Disney has brought to audiences around the world.

The Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection is not just about technological achievements; it is also about storytelling at its finest. A High Price for Magic

There is no doubt that this collection is truly a spectacular collection. The collection is a limited edition and comes with a certificate of authenticity, a collectible Mickey ears hat, 100 Disney and Pixar animated films on Blu-ray Disks, digital codes, a lithograph from the upcoming film Wish, and a gorgeous slipcase to store it all.

However, the less exciting aspect of this product is the high price it comes at. The set is selling online at Walmart.com for $1,499.96. For a collection of films that many fans already own or can watch on Disney+, this is a high price. In a post about the collection, fans made their dissatisfaction clear. One says,

Even with the criticism, fans shouldn’t be surprised to see this collection sell out. For the mega-Disney fans out there, this is a tangible piece of history. Preorders are available now. The full list of movies is:
