On Thursday, Disney released a brand-new video on the company’s YouTube Channel, and it makes us smile–no matter how many times we view it.
Have you ever stopped to think about your most favorite Disney memory? Maybe it was the first time you watched your favorite Disney classic film or the first time you read one of Disney’s Little Golden Books. It could have been the first time you heard the words, “We’re going to Disney World!” or the first time you saw the shiny blue turrets on the very tiptop of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
Hey, it could have been the 50th time you saw Cinderella Castle–we get it.
Because Disney is timeless, the memories we make with Disney are timeless as well, meaning we can easily have multiple favorite experiences–as children and as children at heart! Some fans were adults before they ever visited a Disney Park. Some of us grew up going to Disney World two or three times a year, but the dream of walking through Walt’s very first park wasn’t fully realized until we had children of our own (ahem, ahem).
Disney’s newly-released YouTube video celebrates some of those timeless, joy-inducing memories, as shared by several beloved Disney stars like Anthony Mackie (Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water), Diego Luna (Star Wars: Andor), Owen Wilson (Loki, Haunted Mansion), Catherine Zeta-Jones (National Treasure: Edge of History), and others. Take a look here:
The new video, titled, Disney100: A Century of Memories, is a compilation of the memories of these stars–and an invitation to fans all over the globe–kids and kids at heart alike.
It’s your turn, and Disney wants to hear from you! You don’t have to be a celebrity to share your favorite Disney experiences. Disney wants to know: “From timeless stories and unforgettable characters to unparalleled experiences . . . what’s your favorite memory?” If you’d like to be part of the celebration of timeless memories and unforgettable magic and moments, simply use the hashtags #Disney100 and #SharetheWonder when you share via social media!
There’s only one problem. How are we supposed to pick one favorite Disney memory? Yeah, we’re not doing that. Don’t mind us; we’ll just be over here hashtagging the heck out of ALLLL of our memories! Join us!
