Disney Cruise Line has announced the launch of its newest ship, the Disney Treasure, set to sail the open seas in the near future. This new addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet is expected to enchant Guests with its unique features and magical experiences.
Just a couple of days ago, Disney released a sneak peek into what the Disney Treasure will look like. Now, we have been given an up-close detail of the ship’s stern.
A ‘Treasure’-Trove of Magical Fun!
Disney Cruise Line has been renowned for its exceptional fleet of cruise ships, including Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder. The newest addition, Disney Treasure, is set to exceed expectations and elevate the Disney Cruise Line experience to new heights.
Every cruise ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet has certain characters that inspire the overall theme. For the treasure, the theming is heavily based on Peter Pan. This is a perfect choice, especially since Treasure is in the title!
In the reveal video posted by Disney, we also save characters like Tinker Bell, Miguel from Coco, Moana and Hei Hei from Moana, and some of the haunts from the Haunted Mansion. These characters all have a great sense of adventure and an explorer’s spirit.
A Stern Beyond Any Others
When Disney revealed photos of the ship’s stern, every Peter Pan fan’s jaw dropped.

The stern shows a playful scene between Peter Pan and Captain Hook, who has been. drenched in yellow paint by Peter. This stern looks adorable and completely captures the adventurous spirit that the Disney Treasure envokes.
It is incredible to see the hard work of Cast Members play out in real-time. It has only been two years since the Disney Wish debuted, and already Disney is elevating the level of quality and detail in their ships.
