Setting sail on the high seas with Disney is always an adventure. Recently, Forbes and Food & Wine Magazine honored the most magical ships at sea with two distinct honors: customer service and dining all-stars! Forbes recognized Disney Cruise Line’s impeccable customer service . The “Disney Difference” really shines here. The level of care you get on a Disney ship is unlike any other Cruise line in the industry.

It’s the food though that truly stands out. Cruise food can either be incredible or truly awful. You’ll find a mix of both on most cruise lines. Not on Disney though! The dining aboard Disney’s fleet was closed by readers of foodie magazine “Food and Wine” as “one of the best culinary experiences at sea.”

This is evident in all aspects of the Cruise line’s culinary delights but none more so than at Animator’s Palate. This Magical restaurant actually changes color! You ready that right, the entire restaurant changes color during the course of the meal! We can’t get enough of the Pacific Rim food either. The good news is, we don’t have to! You can order more than one item on the menu here included in your cruise fare!

Of course specialty adult-only dining like Palo and Remy are fantastic. These upscale restaurants bring  first class service and Disney showmanship to everything they do. It’s Animator’s Palate, though, that truly steals the show for us. The family friendly restaurant is included  in rotational dining, unlike the specialty adult-only spots, so everyone will get a turn.

We love our Walt Disney World food but Disney Cruise Line food is every bit as good. Next time you’re at sea with Disney, skip the buffet and try the good stuff. You won’t be sorry, we promise! If you’re ready to book your own high seas adventure, click here

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
