Disneyland Rolls Out One of Its Cheapest Ticket Offers in Years at Just $71

Finding an affordable day at Disneyland has become increasingly difficult, especially as ticket prices continue to fluctuate throughout the year. For many families, even a spontaneous visit can quickly become an expensive outing once admission, meals, and extras are added to the budget.

That’s why Disneyland’s latest announcement is turning heads.

As the resort prepares to celebrate its 71st anniversary, Disney is rolling out a special ticket promotion exclusively for Anaheim residents. The limited-time offer gives qualifying locals the opportunity to visit Disneyland for as little as $71 per person, a price that stands out in today’s theme park landscape.

The discounted tickets go on sale beginning July 16 and can be used for visits between July 20 and October 8. That window gives residents nearly three months to enjoy the parks while also covering the beginning of Disneyland’s Halloween season, which officially kicks off on August 21.

Adults ages 10 and older can purchase a one-day, one-park ticket for $71 or upgrade to a one-day Park Hopper ticket for $104. Children ages 3 through 9 can visit for even less, with both one-park and Park Hopper tickets priced at $50.

For local families, that creates an opportunity to enjoy Disneyland without paying the standard admission rates that many guests have grown accustomed to.

Disneyland has offered Southern California discounts over the years, but promotions specifically targeting Anaheim residents don’t come around very often. Since the city is home to Disneyland Resort, the anniversary celebration provides a fitting opportunity for Disney to recognize its local community while encouraging more visits during the late summer months.

The timing could also appeal to guests who enjoy seasonal offerings. Those visiting in August or September will find Halloween decorations throughout both parks, themed entertainment, seasonal treats, attraction overlays, and limited-time merchandise that have become annual traditions for Disneyland fans.

The announcement also follows another promotion that quietly disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived.

Last week, Disney introduced a $59 evening ticket that was expected to be available on select nights from mid-July through early August. That offer has since been removed, leaving this Anaheim resident discount as one of the best current ticket values available.

While Disney hasn’t explained why the evening promotion was pulled, the new anniversary offer provides an even broader opportunity for qualifying locals to spend an entire day inside the parks instead of just an evening visit.

Discounts like this often benefit both sides. Guests save money on admission, while Disney attracts additional visitors who are likely to purchase food, snacks, and merchandise throughout the day.

Whether someone has been waiting for an excuse to return to Disneyland or simply wants to enjoy Halloween festivities without paying full price, this anniversary promotion offers one of the lowest admission prices the resort has announced in recent memory.

With tickets becoming available on July 16 and the offer lasting into October, eligible Anaheim residents have plenty of flexibility to plan their visit before the promotion comes to an end.
