Disneyland Guest Says They Were “Targeted” in Parks
Disneyland Resort, located in Anaheim, California, is more than just a theme park. It symbolizes imagination, nostalgia, and family fun. Disneyland Resort has captured the hearts of millions of guests from around the world.
Disneyland Park offers its own unique attractions and experiences, from classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion to thrilling adventures like Space Mountain and Indiana Jones Adventure.
Families can meet their favorite Disney characters, watch enchanting parades and fireworks shows, and immerse themselves in the magic of live entertainment throughout the park.
Disneyland Park’s sister theme park is Disney California Adventure, a tribute to the rich diversity and cultural heritage of California. This park invites guests to explore the Golden State through themed areas such as Buena Vista Street, Hollywood Land, and Pixar Pier.
Here, visitors can embark on exhilarating rides like Incredicoaster, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!, and Radiator Springs Racers inspired by the Disney-Pixar film Cars (2006).
With all the wonder and events guests at Disneyland Resort can experience from time to time issues occur. A guest at Disneyland Resort recently shared their experience of feeling targeted after being dress-coded during their visit to the park. This incident happened back in 2022 when a TikTok influencer gained widespread attention after being dress-coded.
Ashley Aiello, known as @gardenofarden, was at Disneyland when she was dress-coded while wearing a ball gown. Aiello had changed into the gown for a product photoshoot for her small business, which specializes in unofficial Mickey Mouse ears and accessories.

When Disney security came up to her, letting her know her outfit was dress-coded, she complied with their request to change outfits. However, Ashley Aiello felt unfairly singled out, especially since she had taken similar photoshoots at Disney World without issue.
Ashley Aiello made an updated statement in a recent TikTok video explaining the issues with her dress code issue. Sadly, Aiello continues to receive negative messages over a year later, including alleged death threats. Some individuals even called for her banishment from Disneyland Resort, alleging she was attempting to impersonate a princess.
The guest hopes that sharing their story will raise awareness about the importance of respectful and equitable treatment of all guests at Disneyland Resort.
