Walt Disney World Resort has unveiled another 50th anniversary surprise in the form of commemorative souvenirs for Guests to purchase and enjoy.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disney World has unveiled new commemorative Coke bottles that feature each of the four theme parks at Disney World. Just think: drinkable Disney World souvenirs!

Coca-Cola is the official soft drink brand of several theme parks, including the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. Coke and Disney Parks have collaborated to bring Guests five uniquely-designed commemorative Coke bottles.

One of the festive commemorative Coke bottles celebrates the Resort as a whole and features a gold 50th anniversary logo at the top of the bottle above the traditional Coke logo (in red) and another 50th anniversary logo on the rainbow-colored lower part of the bottle to celebrate the golden anniversary of the opening of the central Florida parks.

The four other commemorative Coke bottles feature one of the four theme parks at Disney World and the park’s corresponding icon, or Beacon on Magic.

The Magic Kingdom Coke bottle has the logo of Cinderella Castle. Pink brightens the bottom portion of the bottle that commemorates the very first park at Disney World. The EPCOT commemorative Coke bottle features a Spaceship Earth logo and a blue bottom. The Hollywood Studios Coke bottle features none other than the Hollywood Tower Hotel and has a bright yellow bottom. And the Animal Kingdom Coke bottle features the Tree of Life logo and is green on the bottom.

Each Coke bottle is printed with wording around the neck of the bottle that reads, “Together Since 1971,” clearly a nod to the partnership Coca-Cola and Disney have shared since the year the Walt Disney World Resort opened.

This isn’t the first time Disney World Guests have gotten to enjoy the benefits of a Disney-Coke collaboration. Coca-Cola manufactured commemorative Coke bottles for Disney World‘s 25th anniversary as well. Additionally, in 2017, Coca-Cola set up kiosks at EPCOT where Guests could choose which names they wanted to be printed on their Coca-Cola mini cans.

And yes. Yes, I did have two of my puppies’ names printed on the Coke cans. (Still not sure who Fred, Tabitha, and Toby are–my kids had fun making up names!)

During that same time, Coca-Cola had thousands of different names printed on 20-ounce bottles of Coke products in grocery stores around the country. At Disney World, however, Guests could purchase 20-ounce Coke bottles and Diet Coke bottles with the names of some of Disney World‘s attractions printed on them. One even read “Main Street” and another one had “at the Castle” printed on it. They were part of the “Share a Coke” series.

(My kids got really tired of holding up those bottles in front of the park icons corresponding to the labels!)

When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019 at the Walt Disney World Resort, Coca-Cola was Johnny on the spot with commemorative Coke bottles (and Sprite, Diet Coke, and Dasani bottles) that were spherical in shape and featured the drink flavor in Aurebash, the written language featured in the Star Wars film franchise. (But TSA wouldn’t allow them on planes!)

The 50th anniversary commemorative Coke bottles will be sold for $4.69 each throughout the four theme parks at Walt Disney World. If you’ll be in the parks soon, be sure to grab yours soon because unlike the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort, these beautiful commemorative Coke bottles won’t be around for 50 years.

Did you ever think you’d refer to a Coke bottle as “beautiful?” Me neither.
