Disney World has made one of its larger dining shake-ups of the summer, and the changes aren’t limited to one park or restaurant.
More than 50 new menu items have appeared across Walt Disney World, ranging from full entrées and breakfast dishes to desserts, snacks, sandwiches, and drinks.
At the same time, Disney has cleared away numerous existing offerings to make room for the new lineup.

While Magic Kingdom received several changes, Disney Resort hotels account for many of the biggest updates. One restaurant in particular has undergone an extensive overhaul.
More Food Is Coming to Magic Kingdom
Guests don’t have to leave Magic Kingdom to find some of the latest additions.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe now serves a Nacho Bowl, Rice Bowl, Southwest Caesar Salad, Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger, and Churro Loops.
Several older items disappeared during the update, including the Double Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger, Coca-Cola Cherry-braised Pork Sandwich, Sweet Corn Mousse, and Mini Churros.
There’s another new treat nearby at Golden Oak Outpost. Disney has added Banana-Caramel Beignets, along with freshly brewed Joffrey’s Coffee.
However, the Magic Kingdom update also includes some straightforward removals. Liberty Tree Tavern no longer lists its House-made Liberty Sangria, and the Red, White, and Blue Slushy has disappeared from Liberty Square Market.
Ale & Compass Gets a Nearly Complete Refresh
The scale of the changes becomes much clearer at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Ale & Compass Restaurant removed a large portion of its previous lineup and replaced it with new options across multiple meals.
For breakfast, guests can now order a Breakfast Flatbread, New England-style Omelet, or Avocado Toast.
The new lunch and dinner selections cover everything from lighter meals to steaks. Tomato and Burrata Salad, Wedge Salad, Steamed Mussels, Seasonal Market Vegetable Flatbread, Maryland-style Crab Cake, Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich, Steak Frites, and Blackened Fish Tacos are among the additions.
For larger entrées, Disney added a 12-ounce New York Strip, Herb-roasted Chicken Breast, and Red Wine-braised Short Rib.
Banana Crème Brûlée and a Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Cup round out the new dessert choices.
The overhaul also means saying goodbye to numerous previous dishes, including the Smoked Salmon Flatbread, Steak and Egg, Crab Cake Benedict, Protein Bowl, Pappardelle Pasta, Bone-In Pork Chop, “Brick” Lemon-Herb Half Chicken, Doughnuts with Sauce Flight, and Butter Cake.
Ale & Compass Lounge received a smaller refresh, with Blue Crab Bisque replacing Clams Casino and Meatballs.
Rix Sports Bar & Grill Changes Its Lineup
Another sizable transformation is underway at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Rix Sports Bar & Grill now has several new breakfast options, including Chicken & Mickey Waffles, Peanut Butter Crunch Pancakes, Caribbean Hash Skillet, Havana Sandwich, and Homestyle Oatmeal.
The additions continue later in the day with The Gathering Board, Stadium Wings, Chicken Milanesa Sandwich, The Ultimate Patty Melt, The Steak Out, and Soup du Jour.
Disney removed several older dishes in conjunction with the additions, including Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit Skillet, Chicken Filled Waffles, Loaded Nachos, Rix Half-Time Burger, California Chicken Sandwich, and Rix Steak Sandwich.
Laguna Bar received its own refresh, adding Wings and The Gathering Board.

Grand Floridian Guests Will Notice Changes
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa isn’t being left out.
Gasparilla Island Grill added a Salmon Bowl, Breaded Chicken, and Glazed Meatloaf, giving guests several new quick-service meal choices.
Grand Floridian Cafe took a different approach.
The restaurant removed its Seasonal Soup, Floridian-style Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Sandwich, and Tofu Power Bowl. A sizable selection of beverages also disappeared, including the Watermelon Lemonade, Royal Berry Spritzer, Pomegranate Paradiso, Spicy Paloma, French 75, and Blackberry-Orange Spritz.
Disney added a new offering called So Many Wishes.
New Desserts and Allergy-Friendly Choices Arrive
Not every menu change involves a major restaurant overhaul.
At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Capt. Cook’s added peanut/tree nut allergy-friendly versions of two existing selections: the Hot Ham and Bacon Sandwich and Thai Coconut Meatballs.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort now has a Strawberry Lemonade Cupcake at Everything Pop Shopping and Dining.
Guests can also find that dessert at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Intermission Food Court added the cupcake alongside a Large Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney’s Hollywood Studios removed its Kids’ Hot Dog.
Disney World Guests Have Dozens of New Foods to Try
The latest changes touch restaurants across multiple areas of Walt Disney World, but Ale & Compass Restaurant and Rix Sports Bar & Grill stand out for the sheer number of changes.
Rather than simply adding a few new dishes to existing menus, Disney has removed numerous choices and replaced them with different breakfasts, entrées, sandwiches, desserts, and drinks.
More dining changes could also be ahead as Walt Disney World approaches its fall season. Halloween festivities are nearly here, traditionally bringing another wave of seasonal snacks and limited-time food.
For guests visiting now, however, there are already more than 50 new menu items to discover.
Even returning visitors may want to check the current menu before making dining plans. Some familiar favorites have disappeared, while dozens of entirely new options have taken their place.
