Guests staying onsite at Disney World offer exclusive guest perks that can significantly enhance your vacation experience. These perks are designed to make guests’ visit more convenient, enjoyable, and immersive. Disney World offers a variety of transportation options to and from the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. These may include buses, monorails, boats, and the Disney Skyliner gondola system, making it easy to navigate the vast resort.
With guests checking in and out of resorts and hotels daily, Disney Cast Members work hard at keeping Disney clean and a safe place for guests. However, some guests may experience a less magical stay at some Disney World Resorts.
In a social media post, a guest staying onsite reported that they found a gun located in the safe when they checked into their room.
“Not really disturbing but I went to Disney on my son’s middle school band trip. When we check into our hotel (Music) there was a gun (9mm) in the safe,” they said.
The guest shared that they notified the front desk, and the police came and got it. This is significant because the guest who smuggled the gun into the resort broke the rules in a way that could’ve been dangerous for other guests.
Disney World, like many other theme parks and public places, has strict policies and security measures in place to ensure the safety of all its guests. Firearms and weapons of any kind are not allowed within the resort’s premises, except for authorized security personnel. Disney’s official website rules on guns or firearms is that they are not allowed on the premises. If caught with a gun at Disney World, guests may be banned.
Disney has plenty of security measures in place to ensure that guests are safe while staying in “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” If you ever run into anything like this, make sure to report it to your nearest Disney Cast Member.
