We have another update to report on as Tropical Storm Ian becomes Hurricane Ian makes its way through the Caribbean and Cuba and prepares to hit Florida’s Gulf Coast in the next day or two. Earlier today, Walt Disney World Resort said that they were monitoring the situation closely and were not planning to close any Parks or parts of the massive Resort. However, it looks like that has now changed and there are several closures that will happen over the upcoming days.
Theme park reporter shared news of the closures on Twitter.
Walt Disney World released a list of changes due to Hurricane Ian, including impacts on some resort hotels, Typhoon Lagoon, miniature golf and other specialty experiences.
