We are just weeks away from Christmas, and Walt Disney World Resort is deep into its holiday celebration. Guests visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth can enjoy things like EPCOT’s International Festival of Holidays, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, and the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT. The holiday season is one of the busiest — and most beautiful — times of the year to visit Disney World and, if you are an Annual Passholder, your holidays just got a lot brighter.
As most Disney Guests are aware, since COVID, both a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation are required to visit Disney World’s four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One of the perks of having a Disney World Annual Pass is that you can hold more than one reservation at a time for a longer period than a basic ticket. The higher-tier your Annual Pass, the more reservations you can hold.
Now, once a Disney World Annual Passholder has booked their maximum amount of reservations, they cannot book another until they use one. However, Disney does occasionally drop what they call “bonus reservations” — a reservation that an AP can make that does not count against their reservation total. Disney doesn’t reveal when these bonus reservations will drop or what dates they will cover, but it looks like Disney wants more APs to visit this holiday season.
On December 9, Disney dropped a ton of bonus Disney Park reservations for the days leading up to Christmas Eve. What a great early Christmas gift!
Now, it is important to note, these bonus reservations are only available for days that your Annual Pass is not blocked. So, if you have the IncrediPass, you have more options than someone with the Sorcerer Pass, as the IncrediPass has fewer blockout dates. Below are the dates available for Annual Passholders with the Sorcerer Pass.
These reservations may go fast, so, if you want to take a trip down to Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate the holiday season, be sure to take advantage of your bonus reservations sooner rather than later! It is also important to note that all theme parks may not be available on all dates you can make a bonus Park pass reservation.
