Walt Disney World is getting ready to open a brand-new resort in 2027, and guests who book a stay will have another reason to look forward to their vacation.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open next summer, bringing new accommodations, dining options, and recreational experiences to the Magic Kingdom Resort Area.

While the resort’s location and amenities have already attracted attention, Disney has now confirmed another benefit that could help families save money during their visit.
The latest announcement involves complimentary admission to two popular Disney World destinations, giving eligible guests another way to enjoy their vacation without purchasing an additional ticket.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Added to Free Water Park Program
Disney has officially added Lakeshore Lodge to its list of resorts participating in the complimentary water park admission benefit for summer 2027.
Under this program, eligible guests staying at participating Disney Resort hotels can visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon for free on their check-in day.
For families arriving in Orlando early, this could be a great way to begin their vacation.
Instead of purchasing a theme park ticket for a partial day or waiting around their hotel, guests can enjoy a water park before settling into their accommodations.

The benefit could also help families manage their vacation budgets, especially with the cost of Disney World trips continuing to be an important consideration.
However, Disney hasn’t announced the official dates for the 2027 program.
In 2026, the complimentary water park benefit operated from May 26 through September 8. Disney revealed those dates in January.
With Lakeshore Lodge opening July 1, 2027, the resort’s first guests could potentially take advantage of the offer if their arrival dates fall within next year’s eligibility window.
Disney Confirms Additional Benefits for Lakeshore Lodge Guests
The water park announcement follows another update involving the upcoming resort.
Earlier in October, Disney confirmed that Lakeshore Lodge guests will also receive Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
Early Theme Park Entry allows eligible resort guests to enter Walt Disney World’s four theme parks 30 minutes before their scheduled opening times.
This extra time can be especially helpful for families hoping to experience popular attractions before larger crowds arrive.

The benefit also applies on check-in and check-out days, although valid theme park admission is still required.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours offer another advantage.
Guests staying at participating Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and select other properties can enjoy additional time inside certain theme parks on designated evenings.
Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, the evening benefit isn’t available every night at every park.
Guests should review Disney’s official calendar to determine which parks will offer additional operating hours during their vacation.
What to Expect When Lakeshore Lodge Opens in 2027
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will officially welcome guests on July 1, 2027, along the shores of Bay Lake.
The property will feature nature-inspired designs influenced by several Disney films, including Bambi (1942), Pocahontas(1995), Brother Bear (2003), and Encanto (2021).
Disney is also planning several accommodation options, including resort studios, villas, and lake houses.
Outside the guest rooms, visitors will find dining locations, pools, a lazy river, and outdoor recreational activities.

Another important feature will be water taxi transportation to Magic Kingdom, providing guests with a convenient way to travel between the resort and the theme park.
Visitors who want an early look at the property can currently find a scale model displayed inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
With its opening approaching, Lakeshore Lodge is becoming an interesting option for families planning a 2027 Disney World vacation.
The addition of complimentary water park admission, Early Theme Park Entry, and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours means guests will have several opportunities to make the most of their stay.
Disney still needs to announce the official 2027 water park benefit dates, but the newest confirmation gives future Lakeshore Lodge guests another perk to consider before booking their vacation.
