Major Warning Released About Disney World Thieves

Walt Disney World Resort is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” Disney World sees thousands of guests daily, but with this amount of traffic heading to Disney parks, tensions can rise and cause issues.

Disney World is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Walt Disney World Resort is also home to two water parks, Blizzard Beach (temporarily closed) and Typhoon Lagoon.  Each Disney park includes different attractions and lands for guests to explore. Magic Kingdom is the most well-known Disney World park. Magic Kingdom includes attractions such as “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, TRON Lightcycle/Run, and many more attractions. Magic Kingdom is also home to several lands like Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and others.

Another exciting event at Magic Kingdom during the fall is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is an annual event combining Disney’s enchantment with the spookiness of Halloween. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a bewitching celebration that brings together families for a night of ghoulishly good fun. Guests can see special shows and parades and get candy while still enjoying the magic of Disney.

Disney World is in full force celebrating Halloween at Magic Kingdom. Disney collectors and fans alike are drawn to the exclusive Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party merchandise, which includes limited-edition pins, apparel, and accessories.  Disney World releases a unique popcorn bucket design for the MNSSH Party each year. These buckets quickly become collectibles, with fans eagerly lining up to get their hands on the latest design. The popularity of these buckets is undeniable, and they often sell out within hours of being released.

Disney guests who got lucky and scored a limited edition item may soon have to keep this item with them due to thieves. Disney World guests with children have to park strollers outside of attractions, and some guests leave items on the stroller such as popcorn buckets, plushes, and other items. Disney World encourages guests not to leave valuables on the stroller while not with it due to thieves.

In a social media post, Disney guests who attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party have been having their popcorn buckets stolen from their strollers. These popcorn buckets have been selling out and guests tend to take them to either keep for themself or to resell to make more money.

“Heya! I’m in a fb group about the MNSSH Party. I’ve seen a few people say their popcorn buckets have been stolen from their strollers. The buckets being stolen are the new ones that are sold out each day.

Just wanted to give everyone who prefers reddit the heads up to not leave their buckets out of view while they there.”

Disney World takes security and the safety of its guests very seriously. Disney World offers lockers for rent, making it convenient for guests to store their belongings securely. Guests are also encouraged to keep a close eye on their personal items and report any suspicious behavior to park personnel.
