Target is set to add dozens of new Disney Store locations to its retail stores just in time to ring in 2022. In fact, the retail chain giant says that it will be tripling the number of Disney Stores inside its retail storefronts, with more than 160 Target stores on deck to welcome Mickey and Friends before the end of the calendar year, just in time for holiday shopping.

Target has not yet released the list of stores that will be getting one of the new Disney Store locations, but the retail giant has, however, announced the comeback of the popular “Bullseye’s Top Toys” list for the holiday season. The list includes several Disney-licensed toys, including an adorable Galactic Snackin’ Grogu from The Mandalorian series on Disney+ and Raya and the Last Dragon‘s Land of Kumandra set.

The news of the additional stores comes on the heels of Disney’s announcement earlier this year that many of its free-standing Disney Store locations would close in 2021.

Target added the first 25 Disney Store locations to its retail stores in late 2019. Each mini-Disney Store encompasses about 750 square feet of magic and is usually situated close to the toy department within the Target Store itself. Each location also pumps familiar Disney music throughout the area and is vibrantly decorated with bright displays featuring Disney and Pixar characters from animated Disney films both new and classic.

Some even have photo opportunities and sitting areas where Mom and Dad can relax while little ones enjoy a little piece of Disney magic at Target.

Is your favorite Target store one of the lucky ones to already have a Disney Store inside? What’s your favorite part of the experience?
