Disney PhotoPass is one of the most unique souvenirs you can take home from your Walt Disney World vacation. The service allows the whole family to get in the picture (ask any mom and she’ll tell you that’s a big deal because we are never in the photos). PhotoPass is a great way to bring home cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

For one price you have access to professional photographers stationed throughout Walt Disney World Parks and even Disney Springs! You also get all of your on-ride photos so you can capture every hilarious scream (or in my case, get busted working while riding).

One of our favorite benefits are Extra Magic Shots! These are photos that have a bit of extra “pixie dust” to them. Often it’s an added character or a unique camera angle. We’ve had Tinker Belle, Figment, Hitchhiking Ghosts, and Remy show up in our photos. Once, I was even a disembodied head!

We love to see the amazing things Disney photographers can come up with. Now there is a brand new Magic Shot to love! For a limited time only, you can get a gorgeous watercolor effect added to your photo in front of Cinderella Castle! This beautiful momento will be one you’ll want to frame for sure!

To get this Magic Shot, you’ll want to find the PhotoPass Photographer stationed near the Partners statue at Magic Kingdom (check out the map below for the exact location). The shot is available from. 9:00 am- 2:30 pm. It’s sure to be popular so you’ll want to make sure you get there early enough that you don’t miss the cut-off time.

To purchase PhotoPass click here or ask your travel agent. The price for the service at the time of this writing is $169 if purchased at least 3 days in advance. It jumps to $199 if you wait until you are already at Walt Disney World. The good news is that unlike Disney Genie+, this price is not per person, it covers your entire party and is good for the entire length of.your stay! You can also choose to purchase the service for just one day for $69.

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
