Walt Disney World is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom includes iconic attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world,” Haunted Mansion, TRON Lightcycle/Run, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, and many more attractions.
EPCOT is a park where guests can learn about different cultures and what the future may look like. Guests can experience attractions such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Living with the Land, Soarin’ Around the World, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and many more thrilling attractions.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios allows guests to immerse themself in different lands. Guests can visit Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and many more. Guests can visit attractions such as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Slinky Dog Dash, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and guests can watch Fantasmic! With all of these different attractions and lands, guests of all ages can find something they enjoy.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is known for the large tree that is the center of the park, which is called the Tree of Life. Disney’s Aniamal Kingdom teaches guests about the animal kingdom, and guests can get up close and personal with different animals. Guests can enjoy attractions like It’s Tough to be a Bug!, Expedition Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, DINOSAUR and many more attractions.
With all of these different attractions at Disney parks, guests have been missing out due to not being able to park hop until 2 p.m. this is all set to change now.
Disney Park Blog shared major news about Disney World guests being able to park hop. Beginning January 9, 2024, guests with a ticket with Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass can once again visit another theme park at any time of the day during park hours. Since 2021, Park Hopper access has only been available after 2 p.m. each day. Now, there will be no more waiting; guests can decide if they want to walk in one park and head straight to another. Guests with Park Hopper benefits will now have more flexibility to explore the Disney World theme parks the way they want and enjoy even more during their visits. Park Hopping is when guests start in one park and can go from one to the other. For example, guests can buy a drink at Magic Kingdom and head to EPCOT to ride Living with the Land, to eat a Mickey Ice Cream Bar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and head to dinner reservations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
On days when theme park reservations are required for Annual Passholders and certain non-dated tickets, Passholders and guests will be able to take advantage of the updates to Park Hopper access after visiting their first park.
Disney also shared news for Passholders: Good-to-go days will begin sometime in January. Guests may be wondering what are good-to-go days. These days are when the theme park reservation calendar will be updated periodically and will show Passholders select days when they may visit a Disney World park without needing a theme park reservation.
Disney World guests planning a trip in 2024, be ready for the changes coming your way. On January 9, 2024, guests will be able to Park Hop all day during park hours, park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets, and last but not least, Disney dining plans will be available once again for Disney Resort hotel guests as part of a package.
Disney World has been changing and making it easier for Disney guests. Some of the Disney perks that have already returned are complimentary self-parking at Disney Resort hotel, guests who are Annual Passholders may visit the parks after 2 p.m. without needing a theme park reservation, and parking trams returned to all four Disney World parks.
