This was a rough week for Disney Parks.
Every year, millions of Guests visit Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort to experience the joy and magic the Parks provide. The Walt Disney Company has established itself as a company that provides consistent and exemplary service. Guests keep on coming back to the Parks because of how Disney delivers near-perfection every time.
Unfortunately, for Guests visiting Disneyland Park last week, that was not the case.
Disneyland Resort Has a Week of Struggles
When vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, Guests have grown to expect Disney to delver every time. Last week, Disney missed the mark for Guests in a big way. Numerous Guests have reported that they felt their Disneyland Resort trip was severly impacted by some major issues happening on Disney’s end.
The Disneyland drama began on Thursday, April 20, when the ticket system went down within the Parks. All of Disneyland was at a standstill, and Guests were denied entrance to the Parks, which was especially an issue for those trying to head to the Parks early.
On Friday, April 21, Disneyland Resort faced a major power outage that affected a large portion of the Parks. Guests were once again left at a standstill and unable to enjoy the Parks as they had planned.

In addition to these issues, a large number of rides were undergoing maintenance all week long. This made lines for the functional rides much longer than usual. It is a shame to know that so many Guests have left the Parks feeling unsatisfied. Most of these issues were completely out of Disney’s control, and its hard to imagine the stress this put on the Parks Cast Members. Hoepfully, Disney is able to bounce back and bring the magic back for Guests this week.
