It is estimated that every day, nearly 200,000 people visit Walt Disney World Resort’s four theme parks. That means that combined, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom see around 73,000,000 visitors.
That number skyrockets if you include Disney Springs. Millions of those visitors of children. Days are long, people are tired, children are excited, and crowds are heavy, which can become problematic.

Many parents have experienced a heart-stopping moment when they look down and don’t see their child next to them. Normally, the child is close by and spotted immediately, but sometimes, they have run off somewhere.
At that moment of panic, a parent may immediately begin to frantically call out their child’s name. However, one mom has a trick that she says works better.

TikToker @therealmom9110 shared that she was recently visiting the theme parks when she lost sight of one of her kids. Normally, she or her husband are in the front of the group, the kids are in the middle, and the other parents are in the back. She said that her son had gotten ahead of her husband, and he didn’t know.
Before they knew it, their son was gone. Instead of instinctually calling out her son’s name, she took a different tack. The TikTok began yelling about what clothes her son was wearing.

In less than 5 minutes, her son had been found and was back with his family. ProudMommy swears by this hack. Many children can have the same name, and, if you yell just their name, people aren’t going to know who your child is. However, if you yell what the child is wearing, people are automatically looking around for someone wearing what you said.
The content creator also said that, if your child is in a dangerous situation, you have just made your child recognizable, and that could save them.

You should also tell your child to find the nearest Cast Member if they are lost. Cast Members can send out the word and help you or your child find a safe place for reunification or help you find your lost family member.
