A Disneyland Guest ruined the “Disney magic” for other Disney Guests during a popular character meet and greet.
Disneyland Resort is known as “The Happiest Place on Earth.” However, some Disney Guests try and ruin the fun and excitement for others.
Disneyland Resort has two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Disneyland sees thousands of Guests daily, with this amount of Guests, errors and accidents occur from time to time.
Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Princess Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, and many more Disney Characters are available for Guests to meet each day at the Disney Parks, whether it be at Disneyland Resort or at Walt Disney World Resort.
However, that doesn’t mean that every character meet and greet goes as planned.
In a recent social media post, one Guest says they were waiting in line for the Mickey Mouse meet and greet when another Guest was telling his family they would not wait for a “fake thing like an actor in a costume.”
“While waiting in line to meet Mickey a girl was wanting to get in line but her dad decided explain to his daughter how he wasn’t going to wait in line to meet mickey since they are just actors in costume and he didn’t want to waste his day doing stupid fake things. Another dad looked like he wanted to punch the first in the face for saying that in front of a bunch of kids and started to say something when a preteen, not sure whose, looked at the dad #1 and said “dude lighten up everything here is fake except everyone really thinks you’re a d*” I couldn’t stop laughing so I’m not sure what dad #1 did. But I was not the only one who started laughing as the kids delivery was just perfect.”
This comment got some Guests in an uproar about ruining Disney Magic, especially for the kids. Of course, this led to an altercation between the dads, as well.
Disneyland Resort has several different attractions, shows, and meet and greets for Guests to make memories that will last a lifetime. When heading to Disneyland, try and be courteous to others around you and watch what you are saying.
