Walt Disney World is a world-renowned destination that captures the hearts and imaginations of millions of Guests each year with its iconic theme parks, immersive experiences, and beloved characters. Disney World is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney World also is home to two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Disney World Guests have been starting to get out of control. Guests have been seen fighting each other and Cast Members, cutting in line, stealing from strollers, arguing, and much more. As a matter of fact, behavior from many Disney Park Guests has gotten so bad in the last couple of years that Disney has added a courtesy reminder to its website, asking Guests to “be the magic you want to see.”
In a Social Media Post, a Disney Guest experienced a scary altercation. They were visiting Disney Word when they were sitting outside of Journey Into Imagination With Figment located in EPCOT to go into the DVC lounge when two men started arguing. These men were arguing in front of the Guest’s grandfather and goddaughter when the altercation was pushed their way.
“So this is gonna be quick, but I wanted to join in on some conversations of violence in Disney world. About 2 months ago in April I was with my family in Disney world and we were sitting outside of the figment ride waiting to go upstairs to the DVC lounge. Two men then started arguing right in front of me, my 78 year old grandfather, and my 6 year old goddaughter/ cousin. Next thing you know the person farthest from us gets pushed and then he throws a sucker punch and the other guy falls and almost body slams my god daughter. So of course I said something like you do realize u almost hit my 6 year old cousin and the guy looks back and says oh well that’s his bad.”
Disney World theme parks are not meant for fighting, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. If you’re caught fighting in Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll be removed from the theme park and you could even be arrested or banned from the property depending on the severity of the situation. Guests heading to Disney World expect memories that will last a lifetime, not nightmares of Guests not getting along.
