Disney Cruise Line has just released modified itineraries for some of its sailings in September and October that previously listed Nassau, Bahamas, as a port of call.
Earlier this week, DisneyDining brought you the news that Disney Cruise Lines will now require that passengers ages 12 and up are vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to sail on any of the ships in the DCL fleet, which includes the Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder and the newest member, the Disney Wish.
Because of the recently soaring numbers of new COVID-19 cases in Florida, in part due to the highly-contagious Delta variant of the virus, the Bahamas have passed a mandate that all ships coming in to dock in the Bahamas will only be permitted to do so if every crew member and passenger on board the ship (ages 12 and up) are vaccinated.
The removal of the Bahamas only affects certain sailings this fall in September and October.
The new itineraries have an impact on 4-night sailings on September 13, 20, 27, and October 4, 2021. The modified sailings are as follows:
- Monday – Port Canaveral, FL
- Tuesday – Day at sea
- Wednesday – Disney’s Castaway Cay
- Thursday – Disney’s Castaway Cay
- Friday – Port Canaveral, FL
The modified 3-night itineraries include sailings on September 10, 17, 24, and October 1 and 8, 2021, and the changes in sailings are as follows:
- Friday – Port Canaveral, FL
- Saturday – Day at Sea
- Sunday – Disney’s Castaway Cay
- Monday – Port Canaveral, FL
