Disney Takes the Wheel

The Walt Disney Company has made a brave leap into the world of automobiles with the debut of its first-ever Disney car. Disney has never done a collaboration of this kind, and fans are going to be blown away by what they came up with. This year is the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Animation, and Disney is not taking the celebration lightly. All year long, Disney will be celebrating this historic achievement inside and outside of the Disney theme Parks.

As part of the celebration, Disney turned to Hyundai Motor America to create the perfect set of wheels to celebrate the occasion. At the New York Auto Show, Hyundai presented the finished product: The Hyundai Ioniq Disney100 Platinum Edition.

Disney’s Luxury Car Will Cost a Pretty Penny

The car looks gorgeous. Special LED-pixel screens show pixie dust and a Disney sparkle animation throughout the interior and exterior of the car. The wheels even come with hidden Mickeys inside of them. The interior of the car looks magical due to the ambient lighting and glow. Everywhere you look, the Disney100 logo is tastefully placed. The car is filled with Disney magic, and it is the perfect place to listen to some iconic Disney music. Everything looks classy and incredibly luxurious about this Disney100 Platinum concept. Even the floor mats have Disney advertising.

The quality of the product does mean it comes at a steep price. The regular Hyundai Ioniq 5 costs $59,165, so the tricked-out Disney version will likely be a lot more than this. As of now no release date has been announced for this car, so if you are a Disney fan looking to purchase it, you’ll need to be patient.
