Starring in the newest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but no stranger to the spotlight, actor Will Poulter has been in show business since he was a little kid. Marvel Studios fans can see him as Adam Warlock in the box office smash Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but regular audiences will recognize him from projects such as We’re The Millers (2013) and Black Mirror (2018).

Fans all over the galaxy are praising the new film, also starring Chris Pratt and directed by James Gunn. Through the success of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Poulter’s commitment to Anti-Bullying has reminded the internet of another one of his connections to Disney.
Will Poulter is an actor with a very distinct and expressive face and opened up about being teased for his looks. To his dismay, he was very often likened to Sid, the evil and sadistic next-door neighbor of the main characters in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story (1995).

Sid is a round-headed menace with a buzz cut and braces, who never goes anywhere without his black skull t-shirt. He experiments on his toys until they are grotesque and mismatched. He even duct tapes Buzz Lightyear to a rocket! Of all the Disney characters to be compared to, Sid is definitely an undesirable one.
In 2017, to counteract this bullying, Will Poulter took the joke into his own hands and dressed up like Sid for all the internet to see. Here’s the picture and what the actor wrote along with it.

It was time…This Halloween I thought I should respond to the comparisons with Disney Pixar’s biggest bully next door and go as Sid from Toy Story! In addition to having a laugh at my expense I wanted to try and raise some attention for a cause I am an ambassador for! As this month is Bullying Prevention Month in the USA and Antibullying Week in the U.K. is just around the corner, I would really appreciate it if you could please give them a follow before you like or share and help support the cause to make school a safer and happier place for young people. Thank you! @antibullyinhpro
Even superheroes get bullied. Luckily, Will Poulter superpower was his ability to turn these potentially scarring jokes into a power and positive force for goo.
