Walt Disney World Guests are disappointed with a popular Disney attraction.
Walt Disney World Resort is a premier vacation destination located in Orlando, Florida. It is one of the most iconic and popular theme parks in the world. Guests come from near and far to immerse themself in Disney Magic at “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Walt Disney World is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Each Disney Park includes different attractions, shows, and meet and greets. One of the most recognizable Disney Parks is Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom Park is known for the stunning view of Cinderella Castle while strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. The Disney Park is also home to many iconic attractions such as “it’s a small world“, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain and many more attractions.
While many Disney Guests have been looking toward the future– which will include the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the place of the now-defunct Splash Mountain– there is a new attraction that has been drawing ire from some of the most loyal Disney fans: We’re talking about TRON Lightcycle / Run.
In a Social Media Post, One Disney Guest finally rode TRON Lightcycle/Run and, sadly, they were disappointed. This Guest was interested in the pre-show however, it felt like the ride was “empty.”
“Finally rode Tron yesterday and all I have to say was that it was just disappointing to me, yeah the whole ride and queue is cool and nice especially the pre show section. But when the ride finish the only thing I said was “that’s it”. I saw other people rate this coaster above average but it felt below average as a coaster. When you have other coasters in Orlando like Everest, guardians, hagrid and velocicoaster you can see how bad Tron is as a ride compare to them, wasn’t worth the wait and it just feels like a one time to experience it than a must do every time you go to Magic Kingdom.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first Guest to feel this way about the coaster. The Tomorrowland attraction has drawn backlash from many Disney World fans who believe it has “left more to be desired.” Of course, it should be noted that not every Disney attraction will be for you.
This is based on Guest experience and no Guest experience is the same. As a matter of fact, there have been many fans who were enamored with TRON Lightcycle / Run and have looked forward to riding it again when they get the chance. The only way to know for sure is to check it out for yourself!
If you want to visit TRON Lightcycle / Run, you need to be aware that the attraction does not have a standby queue. The only way to experience the coaster is to either grab a spot in the Virtual Queue, which drops every morning at 7:00 a.m. and then again at 1:00 p.m., or to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane pass. Both of these can be done through the My Disney Experience app.
