Fans have had enough.
The Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park is a frightfully delightful event that brings the spirit of Halloween to life. This highly anticipated Disney Halloween party, which takes place within the magical realm of the Disneyland Resort, allows Guests to immerse themselves in a world of enchantment, fun, and of course, a dash of spooky excitement during Halloween time. This theme Park Halloween Party takes place at Disney California Adventure Park and features a villain’s grove, a frightfully fun parade, and a treat trail. It also allows Guests to enjoy the Disney Park while wearing a Halloween costume.
Tickets for this highly sought-after Disney Park event went on sale once again after Disney was having some issues with the website on the day of the original sale for this Disney Halloween Party. Unfortunately, yesterday’s sale still did not go as smoothly as hoped, and thousands of fans are left with hours wasted and nothing to show for it.
Fans Call Out Disney’s Negative Ticket-Buying Experience
One thing is clear: Disney has fans who are willing to wait in a virtual line all day long just for a chance to spend hundreds of dollars with Disney. Disney fans are some of the most passionate and dedicated fanbases out there, and their willingness to endure long waits and high prices is incredibly commendable.
However, even the most die-hard Disney people are feeling disillusioned after another horrendous ticket-buying experience took place yesterday. Back on June 29, the original day of sale for Oogie Boogie Bash tickets, the website shut down midway through the day. Disney made the call to halt Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales and postpone them until July 11, 2023. Many Guests had been waiting in line for eight hours when suddenly the queue was shut down, completely wasting their day.
Disney Is out of Second Chances
When Guests logged on on July 11 to try once again to purchase tickets, they were hoping that the process would be much smoother, considering Disney has time to fix it. Unfortunately, many Guests were once again stuck in long queues, full of glitches, just to have the events sell out before they could purchase an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket.

Dozens of fans have posted their anger on the Disneyland Resort Reddit.
After waiting all day literally since 9am I just got this notification.

On one hand, it is understandable that Disney has a limited number of tickets and cannot possibly supply enough for all of the fans. However, Disney must do something to improve their website experience. The number of crashes and glitches that happen on Disney’s website is far worse than with any of the company’s competitors. Hopefully, something will be done before the next round of tickets go on sale.
