October 1 was a big day at Walt Disney World Resort, with the kickoff of its 50th-anniversary celebration. All the Parks celebrated the magic of 50 years of Walt Disney World, but one theme park may have had more action happening that day than the others, and it is not the Park you think. Yes, Magic Kingdom, the heart of the Resort had a special new fireworks show, but EPCOT saw a ton of new experiences officially open to the public.
Not only did EPCOT also have its own new nighttime show, Harmonious, and a brand-new attraction — Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — but it also saw the opening of a new and incredibly delicious restaurant. La Crêperie de Paris opened in the France Pavilion and sells exactly what you think it sells, crêpes. Whether you are craving something sweet or savory, there is a crêpe for you at La Crêperie de Paris.
La Crêperie was only open for lunch and dinner, but it always drew a crowd. Unfortunately, there was no way to guarantee your family a seat at the restaurant. When La Crêperie de Paris opened, Guests were unable to make reservations and were seated on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, that is changing, and La Creperie is now taking reservations for lunch and dinners that will take place on or after November 28.
Since La Crêperie de Paris is a new dining location, you may not know much about it. Here is more information on the delicious French spot from the Walt Disney World Resort website:
La Crêperie de Paris features the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, the mastermind behind 2 beloved restaurants in the France Pavilion at Epcot: Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul.
Sit down to a relaxing meal in this table-service restaurant, serving up savory buckwheat galettes featuring ingredients like chicken, salmon, ham or vegetables, along with various cheeses. Or, satisfy your sweet tooth with a crêpe featuring delectable options like fruit, whipped cream, hazelnut chocolate spread or caramel beurre salé. And sip on authentic French hard cider—a refreshing accompaniment to your meal.
For those who would love to try a delicious crêpe but do not want to make a sit-down reservation, a quick-service window is connected to La Creperie and is called Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris. The menu is not as extensive, but there are still a number of delicious choices like Cream of Brie Cheese Galette, butter and sugar crêpe, and the house-made hazelnut crêpe.
La Crêperie is open daily for lunch from 11 a.m. until 3:55 p.m. Dinner will vary daily based on how late the Park is open, and La Crêperie will close one hour before the Park does.
