The L.A. County Medical Examiner Arrives at the Scene
Authorities stretched tape across parts of the property, and a white tent could be seen near the pool and hot tub behind Perry’s home. His parents, Suzanne Perry and John Bennett Perry, who were divorced in 1970, were reportedly at the scene that evening, as was Suzanne’s husband, Keith Morrison, a correspondent for Dateline NBC.
Matthew Langford Perry was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
Shortly thereafter, authorities from the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner (DME) arrived at Perry’s home to conduct a scene investigation before placing Perry’s body on a stretcher and moving it to a coroner’s van through the front door of the late actor’s home on Saturday evening.

According to police who arrived at Perry’s home in response to the desperate 911 call, the late actor’s master bedroom was in a shocking state of disarray. Crime scene photos reportedly confirm this detail, according to a law enforcement source who has viewed those photos and spoke directly with The New York Post.
“It was a disaster,” said the source in an interview.
He described the master suite with “clothes everywhere, towels on the floor . . . just dirty.” He further described the room as having the appearance of being where someone stayed who might be “in the middle of a long bender.”
But according to his account, the master bedroom wasn’t merely one of a string of bedrooms and living areas in a shambles. On the contrary, he described the entire house–except for Perry’s bedroom–as “clean” and very “neat.”
“Like maybe the cleaning lady wasn’t allowed in those bedrooms,” he speculated.
Court Documents Reveal the Tens of Thousands Perry Spent on Ketamine
In addition to revelations about the “disaster” state of Perry’s bedroom, new information has also come to light with regard to the amount of money Perry spent on the powerful dissociative drug ketamine over a nearly one-month span leading up to the actor’s death.
According to court documents made public in recent days, Perry’s live-in personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, took measures to procure the drug for Perry, including using multiple sources to do so. Over the course of approximately four weeks–the four weeks before his death–Iwamasa purchased more than $55,000 worth of ketamine.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Perry’s family, friends, and fans.
