“Happy merry holly jolly seasons greetings here…” Hollywood Studios is getting ready to welcome that time of year! Hollywood Studios is one of the most fun parks at Christmas, though one offering still hasn’t come back from the COVID closure, and now we are wondering if it ever will. Jingle Bell Jingle Bam fireworks show has, thus far at least, not been announced to return, and we would have expected it to be announced alongside all of the other holiday offerings in the Park, which leads us to believe it may be gone for good. However, there is still plenty of fun to be had throughout the Park, and unlike the Magic Kingdom Or EPCOT, it won’t cost you any extra to enjoy the festivities here!Â
Sunset Seasons GreetingsÂ
Each Christmas, the Tower of Terror is transformed into a Gingerbread backdrop with a fantastic projection show that is both fun and festive! Also, if “That Time of Year” from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure doesn’t already live in your head rent-free, it will be after this! Usually, the show is recurring all evening long, beginning at sunset. This season, due to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, the display will alternate with Beacons of Magic. Sunset Blvd will snow nightly as well!Â
Hot Cocoa FlightÂ
Over at Fairfax Fare, you’ll find our favorite holiday treat on all of Walt Disney World! The alcoholic hot cocoa flight is a delicious grown-up treat that harkens back to childhood holiday favorites. Three hot chocolates are served in tasting-sized cups, each with a different twist: Bailey’s Irish Cream, Stoli Vanil Vodka, and Red Stag by Jim Beam bourbon.  My personal favorite is the bourbon because the decadent blend of chocolate and cherry truly feels like a luxurious treat. In fact, I like it so much that I’ve ordered the full-sized version by itself.Â
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along CelebrationÂ
The beloved sing-along comes alive at Christmas with a special holiday twist! The Arendelle historians are joined by favorites from the Frozen franchise to create a holiday-themed Frozen sing-along that will surely become a holiday tradition. Frozen Sing-Along: For the First Time in Forever also features an unforgettable holiday finale featuring everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf!
Santa Claus Motorcade
One thing we love about Hollywood Studios is the motorcades. During Christmas, you’ll find one that really revs up your holiday spirit! Catch the Santa Claus Merry Motorcade, where old St. Nick will travel up Hollywood Blvd. in his candy-apple red convertible, packed with a sack of presents!
Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine
We love how Hollywood and Vine changes with the seasons, and at Christmastime, it’s truly something special. During dinner, Minnie and her friends Don their festive Christmas garb and celebrate in style at the merriest mealtime around!Â
Christmas Decor
From Christmas Gertie on Echo Lake to Alien ornaments in Toy Story Land, this Park is positively dazzling at Christmas. Each Park contains a massive Christmas tree, and I think the one at Hollywood Studios may just be my favorite! We hope Galaxy’s Edge will join in on the festive fun this year. The infamous Star Wars Christmas special provides enough reason to believe the Star Wars universe celebrates Christmas, so we don’t see why, at some point at least, they wouldn’t join in on the fun. Â
We love how every Park has its own Christmas style and motif at Christmas. Â Hollywood Studios’ nostalgic and often silly twist on Christmas is pure FUN! Santa usually meets on Sunset Blvd in a magical workshop set but so far, that meet and greet has not yet been announced. No announcements have been made yet on the special holiday treat offerings at the Park either. As soon as they are announced, we will be sure to update you!Â
