Central Florida is renowned for its abundance of theme parks, including two of the most popular vacation destinations in the world: Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort.
One thing Universal Orlando Resort has been trying recently is harkening back to classic attractions that have either been demolished or have simply been around for a very long time.
Much of the merchandise found in Universal City Walk, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure comes from its retro collection, which includes images referencing E.T. (1982), Jaws (1975), Back to the Future (1985), and more.

In short, fans of Universal Orlando Resort are all for nostalgia, especially when it comes to a particular attraction. We’re talking, of course, about Jurassic Park River Adventure.
Jurassic Park River Adventure is unique because it’s the only Universal Jurassic Park flume attraction that has yet to be updated and rethemed into Jurassic World.

Fans adore this unique aspect and are very open about how they’d prefer it if Jurassic Park River Adventure received some much-needed TLC instead of a Jurassic World retheme.
Which is why some fans were concerned when they saw this on the official Universal Orlando Resort app:
Where the wait time typically resides lies a “Coming Soon” message, implying that something is coming to Jurassic Park River Adventure.
But as it turns out, it was just an app glitch. At the time of this article’s publication, the app has returned to normal and is displaying a wait time again.
At this time, nothing is coming to Jurassic Park River Adventure.
