Queso Fundido – La Hacienda de San Angel

The Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase features several amazing dining locations for Guests to enjoy that serve up authentic Mexican cuisine with stunning atmospheres. La Hacienda de San Angel is a table service restaurant open for dinner only that features old-world charm with stunning views of World Showcase Lagoon. The perfect way to begin any dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel is with the Queso Fundido starter which features gooey melted Monterey Jack cheese paired with chorizo, peppers, and onions for tons of flavor and is accompanied by four tortillas for dipping.

The other table service dining restaurant found in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion is San Angel Inn Restaurante, which can be found inside the immersive ancient pyramid. This charming restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and invites Guests to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine in perpetual twilight while watching boats silently glide past. While there are plenty of wonderful menu choices at San Angel Inn Restaurante, Guests can enjoy the same delicious Queso Fundido that is found just steps away at La Hacienda de San Angel.

The final delicious cheese dip that Guests shouldn’t miss out on in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion can be found at La Cantina de San Angel, an open-air quick-service restaurant that features a wonderful menu Guess can enjoy from a patio overlooking World Showcase Lagoon. In addition to tacos and other wonderful lunch and dinner options, Guests can make any meal at La Cantina de San Angel even more indulgent with a side of Nacho Cheese, which is served hot and gooey and is perfect for dipping fresh tortilla chips into.

Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom is a popular quick-service restaurant at the very end of Main Street, U.S.A. that celebrates the history of American baseball by serving up traditional and inventive hot dogs in a vintage concession stand setting. Cookes of Dublin is a great quick-service restaurant adjacent to Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant that serves up favorite Irish pub favorites for lunch and dinner each day. The restaurant is open for brunch, lunch, and dinner and serves up an extensive menu of American favorites in a setting designed to feel like an upgraded sports bar with comfortable seating and plenty of overhead televisions to watch any game. The perfect way to kick off a delicious and indulgent meal at City Works Eatery & Pour House is with the shareable Queso Dip, which combines pepper jack cheese, chorizo, Fresno chilies, queso fresco, and micro cilantro for a spicy and creamy dip perfectly paired with corn tortilla chips.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to some of the most incredible and unique dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort that serve up an array of African delights from many different regions. Guests who can’t score a reservation to Jiko – The Cooking Place, Sanaa, or Boma – Flavors of Africa can still enjoy delicious South African wines and small plates at Victoria Falls Lounge. This relaxed location features both indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating around a fireplace, and Guests should absolutely not miss out on the Goat Cheese Dip, which features a creamy spiced goat cheese dip served with assorted breads and crackers for dipping.

Themed to feel like the hangout of Indiana Jones’ friend Jock, Guests can spot nods to the classic film series, as well as lots of nods to air travel. This large lake can be crossed via a series of bridges and right in the very center is Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, a table service restaurant that serves up authentic Spanish cuisine for dinner. Guests who dine at Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago can enjoy some of the best open-air dining at the Walt Disney World Resort, with beautiful water views while sampling menu items, including the Warm Manchego and Oaxaca Cheese Dip, which features chorizo and roasted red peppers for extra flavor and a side of tortilla chips for dipping.

Jumping back over to Disney Springs, incredible authentic Mexican cuisine crafted by Chef Rick Bayless can be enjoyed for lunch and dinner each day at Frontera Cocina. This table service restaurant can be found in the Town Center area and welcomes Guests into a vibrant interior featuring great views out at the waterways that sprawl throughout Disney Springs.
