Changes Come to Frequent Fear Pass at Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights are coming! Universal doesn’t begin spooky Season quite as early as Disney does but you’ll still have plenty of opportunity to celebrate all things horror with Universal’s take on Halloween.  You’ll have the chance to be terrified beginning September 1, 2023. Universal has been slow with news about the event. So far only one house has been officially announced. Unlike Disney’s “not so scary” celebration, Halloween Horror Night “are so scary” and not recommended for children.

There are so many questions currently surrounding the event. Many fans have been wondering if the Frequent Fear Pass would be back this year since it wasn’t announced with the initial event information. We are excited to say that this popular offering HAS returned! The Frequent Fear Pass allows you to get your scare on again…and again…and again with access to multiple nights of the event. With four Frequent Fear Passes to choose from it’s easy to get the most bang for your buck. Of course, single event tickets are available but you’ll want to relive the horror.

The Rush of Fear Pass is perfect for those wanting to start Spooky season off right! For $179 you’ll get access  the first 18 terrifying  nights of the event. Date included are:

• Sept. 1–3, 6–10, 13–17, 20–24

The  Frequent Fear Pass is for those who want a little more terror in their life. For $229.99, this pass allows access for up to 30 nights but it is only valid Sunday through Thursday PLUS the first weekend. Included dates are: 

• Sept. 1–3, 6–7, 10, 13–14, 17, 20–21, 24, 27–28
• Oct. 1, 4–5, 8, 11–12, 15, 18–19, 22, 25–26, 29, 31
• Nov. 1-2

The Frequent Fear Plus Pass gets you 10 extra nights for those who just can’t get enough of the adrenaline pumping scares! With this pass you’ll get up to 40 nights which includes EVERY Sunday through Friday event. This pass is $269.99. Included dates are: 

• Sept. 1–3, 6–8, 10, 13–15, 17, 20–22, 24, 27–29
• Oct. 1, 4–6, 8, 11–13, 15, 18–20, 22, 25-27, 29, 31
• Nov. 1-4

The Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass is for true Halloween Horror Night fans! Experience no blockout dates when you purchase this pass and attend every night of the event. That’s up to 48 nights of sheer terror! This pass will run you $374.99. Included dates run the entirety of the event: 

• Sept. 1–3, 6–10, 13–17, 20–24, 27–30
• Oct. 1, 4–8, 11–15, 18–22, 25–29, 31
• Nov. 1-4

New this year, Frequent Fear Pass purchases require guests to select the date their pass will start. This new policy  has caused more questions than answers “what happens if you can’t attend the first night you selected? Do you lose that night?” So far Universal has not provided any answers to these questions but stay tuned right here at Disney Dining.
