It is worth noting that getting a flu shot remains one of the most effective ways to prevent influenza infections, as does getting a Covid-19 shot. Vaccination reduces the risk of contracting the virus and helps minimize the severity of symptoms should an individual become infected. In light of the current “high” zone designation for flu cases in Florida, health authorities strongly encourage everyone eligible to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
During this winter season, it is always a good idea to remain vigilant in cleaning your hands and getting lots of rest.
