Advisory for Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is typically the main airport of choice for those traveling to Walt Disney World or Universal Studios Florida. Today, MCO posted that travelers should be aware of an advisory at the airport throughout the day.

Although the advisory will not impact airport operations, MCO wanted travelers to know what was happening at the airport today.

The post stated the following: Today we are conducting our biennial emergency exercise in accordance with FAA rules and regulations. Please do not be alarmed if you see any emergency equipment/vehicles on property. This is only a drill and will not impact airport operations.

As seeing additional emergency equipment and vehicles at the airport can be alarming, we appreciate that Orlando International Airport is being proactive with this communication.

This is why checking communication from your airports, resorts, and other travel companies you might be working with during your trip is crucial. Doing this will save you some stress and allow you to be aware of anything that might impact your trip ahead of time.
