One of the key reasons for the show’s global popularity is its universal themes and relatable content. The show revolves around the daily adventures of a Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey, along with her family, which includes her dad, Bandit, mom, Chilli, and little sister Bingo.

The episodes often depict scenarios and challenges that children and parents can easily relate to, such as playtime, sibling rivalry, and the ups and downs of family life. This relatability has made Bluey a hit not only in its home country, Australia, but also in countries like the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Bluey recently added 10 new shows to Disney+ on January 12, 2024. Within these new shows, one episode stands out more than others. The episode “Cricket” has taken the world by storm.

Joey Rector on X shared that the “Cricket” episode on Bluey is the “greatest episode of television, adult tv included.”

Other Bluey fans like Colin Parleahy quickly agreed Cricket is a great episode.

I am willing to admit that the new bluey episode “cricket” wrecked me today. Cried like a baby. Quite possibly the best 7 minutes of children’s tv ever created

Another fan talks about how “Cricket” is the best show in 2024.

Bluey has stolen the hearts of fans due to the topics they gently touch. Fans have learned about loss, grief, friendship, diversity, and acceptance. The series also deals with problem-solving and teaches safety.

By addressing these hard topics in a way that children can understand and relate to, Bluey not only entertains but also educates young viewers on important life lessons. It promotes open communication between parents and children, encouraging discussions about these subjects and helping kids develop valuable social and emotional skills.

Due to Bluey addressing hard topics, some parents feel that Bluey should be censored due to being “toxic.Bluey has released episodes on which “fat shame” characters, and due to this, Disney’s ABC responded to this backlash by agreeing to edit the episode of the children’s show following pressure from viewers.
