Pricy Menu Grabs Attention Online
The menu at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs includes a variety of gourmet options, from classic corn dogs to more elaborate creations like the Pickle Dog, Golden Dragon, or Mexican Street Dog. However, the prices for these items have left some guests feeling that the cost outweighs the experience.
Typical menu items are priced between $12 and $15, with some specialty combos adding cotton candy and a drink adding up to over $30. While the gourmet nature of the offerings and the high-quality ingredients used are part of the restaurant’s appeal, many visitors are questioning whether the price point is justified. One comment says:
“$20 for a gussied up corn dog, chips and a drink feels Disney reasonable. $8/9 for cotton candy is what seems egregious to me.”
The high prices at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs are notable given the competitive dining landscape at Disney’s BoardWalk, where guests have access to a range of dining options, from upscale restaurants to more casual eateries. While some guests are willing to pay a premium for unique and high-quality food experiences, others are finding it hard to justify the cost.
As Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs settles into its new location at Disney’s BoardWalk, it will be interesting to see how the pricing issues impact its long-term success. The restaurant’s initial popularity and the buzz surrounding its opening suggest that it has the potential to attract a dedicated following, regardless of price. What do you think?
Absolutely outrageous pricing! COSTCO offers a foot-long hotdog and a soda for $1.50 and the CEO indicates that price will never change. Disney needs to start thinking about high costs to the Middle Class family that wants to bring their kids to the “Most Magical Place on Earth”.
Inside Disney and on Boardwalk are very expensive for snacks ,meals ,drinks , its a captive audience ,not catering for normal everyday family’s ,even Disney Dinning is very much over priced for what you get , its too easy to put the prices up and drop the quality and quantity down ,Disney And Boardwalk are a complete rip off on price and quantity food wise and drinks.
Hopefully they are foot long corn dogs at $12.50 each. I thought the prices at the state fair were outrageous but leave it to Disney to beat them.
I wonder who is setting the prices, with those prices will you get a prize with each meal LOL.
Simply ridiculous and it just continues!
If COSTCO is your “Most Magical Place on Earth” because of the price of a hot dog, then that is where you should go to get your fix on hot dogs. Everyone needs to remember that the folks at the top of the Disney Org Chart really do not give a crap of what anyone thinks of the prices, they just know they can charge outrageous prices and people will line up to be fleeced of their money and wait in line and be crowded with no room to move and wait in long lines while they are at it. The Disney top brass just keep having meetings which, I am sure conclude with high fives and much praise for each of those who suggest raising prices even further while taking away what had been included in the past. They can’t risk their multi-million dollar salaries and corporate jet life.
