James Cameron vs James Cameron
Titanic was able to re-enter the top three after it returned to theaters to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film. James Cameron, who also directed Titanic, is now the director of three out of the four highest-grossing films in movie history. Anthony Russo and Joe Russo still hold the #2 spot for their work directing Avengers Endgame. This is also a huge win for Disney, who owns the rights to the Avatar franchise and Marvel. Fans on Twitter poke fun at the fact that James Cameron has dominated the charts.
