Annual Passholders No Longer Offered Exclusive Disney Merchandise Savings
Disneyland Paris Resort’s most dedicated visitors are raising serious questions about the value of their Annual Pass after the European Disney vacation destination stripped one of its most tangible benefits…and then extended even deeper discounts to everyone else.
The Benefit That Disappeared at Disney Adventure World

When Disneyland Paris Resort reopened its reimagined second theme park, Disney Adventure World, on March 29, the resort quietly suspended the Annual Passholder merchandise discount for items specific to the new park. The standard benefit typically saves passholders between 10 and 15% on merchandise, depending on their tier — a perk that Annual Passholders factor into the value calculation when deciding whether the pass is worth the investment.
Disneyland Paris Resort’s reasoning appeared to center on limiting reseller activity and ensuring that vacationers making a once-in-a-lifetime visit had fair access to the new theme park‘s opening merchandise. As a justification, it was debatable—but it made enough sense….until the promotional signs appeared.
When the Logic Collapsed

Earlier this month, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP photographed promotional signage inside a Disney Adventure World gift shop advertising savings of between 34 and 50% off select merchandise — available to any guest, regardless of pass status. The images landed like a splash of cold water on Annual Passholders who had been told their discount couldn’t be applied to the same items.
Disneyland Paris refuses to give a discount for DAW merchandise to Annual Passholders who paid for an Annual Pass specifically to benefit from perks such as merchandise discounts, while now, everyone is getting a discount anyway… #disneylandparis #disneyparks

The resort that wouldn’t offer its most loyal customers 10 to 15% off turned around and offered the general public up to 50 percent off the same items. Whether the Annual Passholder discount would have stacked with the promotional pricing is almost irrelevant to the principle at the center of the complaint.

@Cesarbluez expressed the broader sentiment among affected Annual Passholders:
Welcome to DLP where They dont care if Annual pass holders get benefits but their Numbers $$$$

Disneyland Paris Resort has not issued any statement about the situation, and Annual Passholders remain ineligible for merchandise discounts on Disney Adventure World-specific items at the time of this report.
