Disney Slashes Resort Prices to $99 Per Night for a Limited Time

Disney Visa cardholders, get ready to score some serious savings. Walt Disney World has just announced an aggressive winter pricing strategy that brings resort stays down to as low as $99 per night—a deal that’s practically unheard of at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

The Deal Everyone’s Talking About

Starting January 4 and running through February 10, 2026, eligible guests can book discounted accommodations across six different resort properties. But there’s a catch: you’ll need a Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to unlock these rates, and you must use it to pay your deposit. The cardholder also needs to be listed as a guest staying in the room.

The promotion targets midweek travelers, with availability concentrated on Sunday through Thursday nights. You’ll need to commit to at least two consecutive nights to qualify, which honestly isn’t hard when you’re getting these kinds of savings.

Breaking Down Your Options

Budget-Friendly Pick: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort leads the pack at just $99 per night for Standard Rooms. Sure, it’s a value resort, but you’re still getting all the perks of staying on property— like early park entry, and free transportation to all four theme parks.

Mid-Tier Choices: Step up to $199 nightly at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, where you’ll enjoy a Village Standard Location room at this moderately priced property. If you need more space, the Cars Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort run $299 and can accommodate up to six guests with a kitchenette included.

Premium Experiences: Here’s where it gets interesting. For $399, you can wake up to giraffes and zebras grazing outside your window at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Standard Savanna View). The 1-Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa cost $429 and include full kitchens and in-unit laundry—perfect for families planning extended stays. At the top end, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn offers Resort View rooms for $449, putting you steps away from waterfront dining and entertainment.

What You Need to Know Before Booking

Not every room type is included in this promotion. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort excludes The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms entirely. At Animal Kingdom Lodge, you won’t find Resort View, Water View, or any of their King Bed variations at these prices. Saratoga Springs has pulled Deluxe Studios and Deluxe Studio Preferred Rooms from the offer. Across the board, all Deluxe Resort Suites and 3-Bedroom Villas are off the table.

All prices listed exclude taxes, so factor that into your budget planning.

Why This Timing Makes Sense

January and early February represent one of the quietest periods at Walt Disney World. Kids are back in school, the holiday rush has ended, and Florida weather remains pleasantly mild. Shorter lines, lower room rates, and easier dining reservations? That’s the trifecta of Disney planning.

The weekday focus also plays into crowd patterns. Monday through Thursday typically sees the lightest park attendance, meaning you’ll maximize both your savings and your ride count.

Our Take

These rates represent genuinely compelling value, especially at the deluxe tier. Paying $399 for an Animal Kingdom Lodge Savanna View room—which can easily cost $600+ depending on when you book —is exceptional. Even the $99 All-Star rate undercuts many off-property hotels while keeping you in the Disney bubble.

The Disney Visa requirement isn’t a huge barrier. The card carries no annual fee, and if you’re a frequent Disney guest, the rewards program and cardmember perks (like character meet-and-greets at EPCOT) add ongoing value beyond this single promotion.

Act fast if you’re interested. Disney’s promotional room inventory tends to evaporate quickly, particularly for the premium properties. With only five weeks of availability and weekday-only restrictions, there are limited booking windows to work with.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just need an excuse to escape to the parks, this winter promotion delivers legitimate savings that make a Disney trip more accessible. Just don’t forget to pack—you’ve got a vacation to book.

  1. I know for a fact the All Star Sports doesn’t have availability early February. This is UCA Cheerleading National Competition time and most of the all star rooms are held for the teams and coaches.

The other rooms are not really great deals in general, when you can get other hotels nearby cheaper that include breakfast! They’re cheaper than current “normal” prices for Disney, but still expensive!
