It’s an incredibly exciting time for Disney fans as Walt Disney World is in the process of building a couple of new attractions. But the one that is set to open the soonest is EPCOT’s upcoming attraction, Journey of Water Inspired by Moana.

In this photo, we can see the Moana attraction’s entrance, complete with a desk. Does this mean Guests will need to check in before experiencing this attraction? Similar to a virtual queue, will Guests simply make reservations and come back to the attraction at a given time? We’ll have to wait and see!

In this photo, we can see more detail of the attraction that we hadn’t seen before. The rocks, tropical foliage, and overhead covers all add to the ocean aesthetic. Fencing has also been added, probably to keep Guests from climbing the rocks and getting hurt.

In this photo, we can see a rare mistake by Walt Disney Imagineering: some paint overlap! Perhaps it’ll get fixed before construction is officially finished. We can also see netting over the rocks. Possibly to guide plant growth? Only time will tell.
As the title suggests, Journey of Water Inspired by Moana takes Guests on tour through the natural water journey. In this self-guided outdoor tour, Guests learn all about the water cycle and its stages, from water vapor to liquid water.
